Sihastru was born out of a desire for intimacy, silence and contemplation. A place to get away from the world and reconnect with who you are, as a human.
Sihastru (in archaic Romanian) – a person who lives secluded from the world. Hermit (in English) – a person who chooses to live in solitude, away from the world.
We’ve crafted Sihastru for the human who enjoys solitude and wishes to reconnect with their wild self. It is often a haven to couples who wish to experience this reconnection, together.
Our true senses awaken when we get to spend time alone, in the middle of nowhere!

Please note that you will be required to build the fire in the stove, and maintain it throughout your stay. There is no other source of heating in this tiny house. You will find firewood and firelighters on site.
Sometimes, you will be required to cut your own wood! We provide the firewood, but the sizes vary, meaning that you will have to cut it to fit into the stove. An axe is provided.
